The precision engineered Keencut Ultimat Futura combines advanced design with unique versatility to take manual mount cutting to an unrivaled level of accuracy and speed.
Precision Cutting Head
- Swappable magnetic blade holders
- Switch to cut different materials in seconds
- No discernible friction for easy cutting of mountboard up to 3.5mm and 5mm foamboard
- Ergonomically designed for long periods of operation by both left and right handed users
Super Smooth Ball Bearings
- Rolls on steel ball bearings gliding on twin steel tracks
- Triple self-aligning, ball bearing, rollers operating on twin steel tracks
- Bevel cuts at 52.5�
Unique ?Micro-Stop? Adjusters
- On the ?start of cut,? ?end of cut? and ?margin guide? stops to dial out overcuts or undercuts.
- Overcut, turn thumbscrew towards minus (?)
- Undercut, turn thumbscrew towards plus (+)
Sliding Start-of-Cut Finger
- Simply depress to make contact with the board edge to precisely control distance from the edge of the mat to the blade tip
- Unique spring loaded measuring stop slides with the cutting head. When cutting mats large or small, square or rectangular, the stop does not need to be reset.
Base Clip System
- Removable mount guide, squaring arm and board support (optional) for compact storage when not in use
Keencut Ultimat Futura takes manual mount cutting to a level of ultra high accuracy, with fast operation on all mount board of every type and thickness.
The cutting head glides on built-in self-aligning ball bearing rollers to delivery a smooth cutting action that is precise and produces no discernible friction under load. Even the thickest mount board can be cut as maximum operator effort transmits through to the blade.
Interchangable magnetic blade holders make changing blades for different cuts simple and fast. Suitable for high production framing workshops with the ergonomically designed cutting head that is comfortable for both left and right handed operators.
